Georgy Girl

British classic starring Lynn Redgrave as a frumpy but fun-loving girl named Georgy, who is content to live vicariously through her more glamorous flatmate Meredith (Charlotte Rampling) until her father's older employer, James Leamington (James Mason), asks her to be his mistress.
