Two films based on the true events of the American Civil War, featuring battle reenactments filmed in many of their real locations. 'Gods and Generals' is a four-hour prequel to 'Gettysburg', and stars Jeff Daniels as the legendary war hero 'Stonewall' Jackson. The film charts the early years of the Civil War from the campaigns at Manassas to the Battle of Fredericksburg. Whilst 'Gettysburg' is an epic star-studded re-telling of one of the most famous land battles in history which took place in 1863 during the American Civil War. Over 50,000 men died during the three day battle.
