The faculty at East High School thinks that winning the Best Youth Musical in America (BYM America) competition would be the drama club's greatest achievement. Sharpay Evans thinks so too, and before anyone can stop her, she signs up the Wildcats' top performers for the contest. You play this game, player, and you are included!

The worldwide runaway Disney Channel movie hit High School Musical comes to the small-screen on Nintendo DS in an all new game with High School Musical: Makin' The Cut! This is the High School Musical handheld experience that takes players across America as they compete in the ultimate musical competition.

Playing as any of the six High School Musical stars - Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad or Taylor (or their own customised character) - fans dance and play along with the movie's songs on the touch screen, and create and choreograph their own dance videos in order to win the national title.

High School Musical: Makin' The Cut! includes 12 songs from High School Musical and High School Musical 2 with four levels of difficulty. In addition, players can create their own video clips and show off their style by customising their outfits as they compete head-to-head and trade their personal video creations with their friends, wherever and whenever they want.
