Brian Desmond Hurst directs this 1960s comedy starring Kenneth Williams, Joan Sims, Oliver Reed and Francesca Annis. Reggie Blake (Terry-Thomas) is an author familiar with the dictum 'write about what you know'. Since his editor is insistent that he wants interesting and diverse material, Reggie is forced to put himself in a number of bizarre situations - such as wandering into the desert to learn the culture of a tribe native to the area. Unfortunately, these activities displease his wife Fran (Janette Scott) and a great deal of domestic strife ensues...
