Made-for-TV gangster drama written by David Mamet. Partially based on the biography of notorious American crime boss Meyer Lansky by Eli Landau, Uri Dan and Dennis Eisenberg, the drama stars Richard Dreyfuss as the eponymous gangster, following him from his early days as a penniless Jewish immigrant up to his wealthy, influential - and breathtakingly violent - days as one of America's most powerful organised crime bosses.
