Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhaust

Feature-length anime sequel which continues the adventures of a 15-year-old girl who has been transformed into a cyborg. Rune Balot (voice of Megumi Hayashibara) was working as a prostitute when she was savagely attacked and left for dead. Fortunately, her futuristic world contained technology advanced enough to keep her alive - albeit with the aid of a cyborg-like contraption called Mardock Scramble 09. In this film, Rune continues to seek a means of calling to account the man who attacked her. Key to her quest is finding a way to win gold chips containing memories at the Eggnog Blue Casino, but this will be far from straightforward.
