The ever popular Shrek franchise is back on the DS, but this time Activision's doing things a little differently. Think of Shrek: Ogres and Dronkeys as your one stop guide to child rearing and animal care... if you happening to be rearing an ogre or caring for one of their pet dronkeys.

Shrek and Fiona have opted to take a bit of time off to go travelling, but a problem faces them. Who the devil's going to care for the wee ogres? The dwarf babysitter, that's who. And guess who's going to help? That's right: you.

Armed with your stylus, you'll need to play with the little blighters to encourage them to learn new skills. More skills means more points, and more points means more toys. You can see how this goes. And don't forget about those all-important personal care tasks!

If you fancy taking the bambinos for a trip outside, you'll be able to take on some platforming and unlock touchscreen-focused minigames as you go.
