8 ½ Women

Peter Greenaway's tale of sexual fantasies and blackmail. In Tokyo businessman Philip Emmenthal (John Standing) places his son Storey (Matthew Delamere) in charge of his eight and a half, recently acquired, pachinko parlours. When Storey's mother dies, he travels to his father's Geneva chateau to comfort him, and the pair end up making love. Deciding on a new course of sexual freedom and experimentation, the men decide to recruit their eight and a half fantasy women - including pachinko addict Simato, and Griselda, a bank teller whom Philip blackmails into posing as his fantasy nun - turning Philip's home into a bordello.
