Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade

Although the Wii U has that fancy-looking GamePad, there's still no reason why you can't use Nintendo's new console for some good old-fashioned motion-controlled party games! That's where Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade comes in. The latest in the Family Party series, friends and family will be able to play their way through multiple locations in a remote virtual island, filled with unique environments and obstacles for you to get to grips with.

Although four players can join in the fun using a Wii Remote, you can also use the GamePad to interact with characters off-screen to enhance the gameplay and help your pals out. As you would expect, each themed area on the island comes with a set of appropriately-themed challenges, each wackier than the last.

Such mini-games put players in crazy survival situations, such as dodging barrels while on a horse, or racing across obstacles floating on water. Other challenges include setting off and detonating fireworks, or skydiving whilst avoiding being shot at by other players with huge rocket launchers.
