I'm Losing You

Tangled family drama set in Hollywood, based on the bestselling 1997 novel by Bruce Wagner, who also wrote the screenplay. Perry Krohn (Frank Langella) is a multi-millionaire with a beautiful home in the Hollywood Hills. He's the producer of a hit sci-fi series and has a family who adore him. He is also dying of lung cancer. Perry's son Bertie (Andrew McCarthy) is a small-time actor struggling to deal with his junkie ex-wife (Gina Gershon) and full custody of his daughter. Too proud to accept money from his parents, Bertie takes a job 'selling short' the life insurance of people with AIDS. In the midst of all this morbidity, Bertie meets Aubrey Wicker (Elizabeth Perkins) and begins an intense affair. Rosanna Arquette co-stars as Rachel, the adopted daughter of Perry's brother.
