Documentary about the life of King George VI, the monarch who ascended to the throne after his elder brother Edward VIII abdicated. The King overcame a speech impediment and led Britain through war, with the support of his wife, Elizabeth, and the help of his speech therapist, Lionel Logue. The programme uses archive footage and includes interviews with cast and crew members from the award-winning film adaptation of this real life story, 'The King's Speech' (2010), including director Tom Hooper and actors Colin Firth and Helena Bonham Carter.
