Of course, you don't have to make your TV channel as pedestrian as our simple dream. A whole range of wacky and oddball programmes can be commissioned in this game, as you schedule the perfect line-up, hire actors and directors for your own made-for-TV films and shows and try and secure advertising deals.

Being at the top of the table is the real driving force behind M.U.D. TV - ratings, ratings, ratings! Your competition will be doing all it can to snatch the programming crown from you, and you need to keep your bonkers schedule in check if you want to be the best around. Single-player, network or online play is available to enjoy with friends and enemies alike.

In multiplayer, the action gets a little more vicious as you try to poach the opponent's best employees and sabotage their station to keep you ahead. Alternatively, if friendship is your thing, you can run a TV station co-operatively. Just be sure not to let creative differences result in a split and a rivalry into whose vision is the best.
