Box set containing three popular action movies. 'The Matador' (2005) stars Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear. The story is about hit man Julian Noble (Brosnan). Noble, on assignment in Mexico City, has somewhat of a meltdown when he realises his nomadic existence has left him with no friends or family and not even a place to call home. Desperate for companionship, he starts up conversation with Danny Wright (Kinnear), a normal guy, with a normal life, in town on business. Unaccustomed to normal social etiquette he scares Wright off, but pleads for forgiveness the next day and requests that he accompany him to a bull fight. Julian decides to open up to his new friend more about what he does for a living. All is well until Julian realises his 'meltdown' is serious and he is having difficulty following through on his 'assignments'. He therefore has to ask for help from his new friend Danny. In 'Pulp Fiction' (1994), Butch (Bruce Willis) is an over-the-hill boxer paid to take a fall, who instead does a runner with mobster Merselius's (Ving Rhames) money. Meanwhile, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are two hitmen who aren't having the easiest of mornings, and Pumpkin and Honey Bunny (Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer) are two would-be bank robbers who are planning a heist in a restaurant. Finally, 'Sin City' (2005) is an adaptation of the award-winning comic series created by Frank Miller. Interweaving multiple storylines from the series' history, the film paints a picture of the ultimate town through the eyes of its roughest characters. There's the street thug Marv (Mickey Rourke), whose desperate quest to find the killer of a prostitute named Goldie (Jaime King) will lead him to the foulest edges of town. Inhabiting many of those areas is Dwight (Clive Owen), a photographer in league with the sordid ladies of Sin City, headed by Gail (Rosario Dawson), who opens up a mess of trouble after tangling with a corrupt cop by the name of Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro). Finally, there's Hartigan (Willis), an ex-cop with a heart problem who's hell-bent on protecting a stripper named Nancy (Jessica Alba).
