Drama documentary directed by Franny Armstrong and Ken Loach about the notorious 'McLibel' trial that saw fast food behemoth McDonalds humbled after the longest libel trial in British legal history, when activists Helen Steel and Dave Morris were brought to court after protesting McDonalds' standards and policies. In the course of the trial, hugely damaging revalations about animal cruelty, environmental damage, junk food, advertising and working practices were made public, and after seven years, Steel and Morris emerged victorious from a trial that had almost cost them their jobs and their families.
