A coming-of-age sitcom that avoided much of the sentiment and sappiness that often mars the form, BOY MEETS WORLD was among the most popular television programs of the 1990s. The series began with young Cory Matthews entering junior high, and followed his experiences through high school, encountering the problems that teens everywhere have to deal with. With him, and dealing with difficulties in their own ways, are his best friend Shawn and sometimes girlfriend Topanga. Luckily for the group of friends, wise and sardonic Principal Feeny is always there to offer advice and help the teenagers out.
