Mystery Road

Ivan Sen directs this murder mystery thriller starring Aaron Pedersen and Hugo Weaving. When cowboy detective Jay Swann (Pedersen) discovers the body of a young indigenous girl on the highway he makes it his number one priority to solve the murder. Ostracized from both the all-white police force and the aboriginal people, Swann begins to realise why he has never really fit into this small outback town as he slowly unravels a mystery that stretches far beyond the body of a young girl.
