In this series, while Harry (Colin Firth) is on 'gardening leave' after trading state secret 'Albany' for Ruth Evershed (Nicola Walker), Section D gains a new Chief, Erin Watts (Lara Pulver). Meanwhile, the arrival in Britain of Ilya Gavrik (Jonathan Hyde), Harry's opposite number in the Russian secret service, soon brings death and destruction.
