Documentary about the strange and violent world of 'backyard wrestling', in which a new breed of amateur wrestlers recreate the stunts performed by wrestling stars such as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and Mick Foley. Baseball bats covered in barbed wire, staple guns and lightbulbs are just a few of the homemade weapons used in these makeshift rings, where the wrestlers, often only in their teens, endure broken bones and copious blood loss for the entertainment of audiences that often number less than a dozen people. The documentary looks objectively at why and how this new craze has emerged in the US, the UK and other countries.
