Youth Without Youth

Francis Ford Coppola directs this fantasy drama set in pre-WWII Europe, about a professor who suffers a life-changing experience. When seventy-year-old academic Dominic (Tim Roth) is struck by lightning, his ageing process is thrown into reverse, rejuvenating his intellect and bestowing him with previously unknown mental powers. Now, finally able to conclude his studies into language and consciousness, he becomes the target of a host of foreign powers, all eager to learn the secrets the professor has acquired.
